I'm losing another Mother!
As many of you already know, Mother's Cookies is going bankrupt and will no longer be making cookies.
I know it's a little weird, but I'm very sad about this. And in honor of this important staple of Bay Area culture, I'm going to throw a little shindig at my place on Monday evening, the day they close down the lines for Mother's for good.
Please come join me for Mother's Wake - it will be BYOC potluck - (Bring Your Own Cookie) we will have milk enough for all, tea, if that's your poison... but we hope that by having folks bring their favorite Mothers Cookies, we'll have a smorgasbord of pink and white packages for the sampling.
We'll eat cookies, reminisce, and send the old girl out with a bang. Feel free to arrive anytime after 5.
