well, 1 month in and now 200+ businesses, corporations and an ungodly number of customers partially ride on my shoulders...the network admin is on maternity leave as of today, wife is having the kid later tonight...the job isn't too hard, except for the telecom/phone end, that's fucking rocket science...
i could build network paths all day, troubleshoot them, bounce circuits on the dslam, send ATM frames left and right, but VOIP path build programming and configuring a class5 switch and tweaking their features in the sylantro com manager and voice portal is killing me! i'm a network guy goddamnit, not a phone bitch!!! but the best part about the job is when a customer with DSL + VOIP has their network crash...they can't exactly call me to complain now can they?! hahahahahaha !
