Some more RL random hilarity
So, in between struggling with a certain comm's entries, and trying to get ready for the new job tomorrow, the roommate is making the bird for the Easter dinner, for which we have a friend coming over to partake in.
Scene: After lovely dinner, we get on the topic of how ladylike I am. Or not, as the case may be. Old friend (who is insane BTW) has an argument she wishes to share.
Crazy friend: There is nothing *girly* about YOU.
DJIN7: That's not true! I like some...girly...things.
Crazy friend, & roommates: ....?
DJIN7: All right, so I don't. But hey! I like some chick-flicks!
CF: Yeah? Name one.
DJIN7: I like lots! *names several good chick flicks, such as Terms of Endearment, puts them to shame*
CF: Hmph. Doesn't prove anything. Do you like movies with Mary Stuart Masterson?
DJIN7: mmmm...*can't think of any off the top of my head* sure, why?
CF: FRIED GREEN TOMATOES! A-HAH! (obviously I've failed a test, here)
DJIN7: Hey! I liked that movie! And the other one, where she's the drummer, with that redheaded guy...the 80's one....
Roommate chimes in: "Some Kind of Wonderful".
DJIN7: That's it! That's a chick-flick! And that part at the end, where the metalheads crash the preppie party and make the bad guy almost pee his pants? Soo awesome. I can so relate.
CF: Ah-HAH! If *you* can relate, it's NOT A CHICK-FLICK! I rest my case.
Roommates: *snicker*
