Most awesome dance party EVER
This evening I went to a Pedalpalooza event with the girl I met last Saturday, Ashley, and a couple of her friends. The event was a dance party on top of Rocky Butte. Someone hauled a JBL speaker and another guy brought a full DJ setup. Everyone else brought themselves and a bunch of people brought food. Once people had loosened up, there was some serious dancing action going on. The DJ was actually pretty good and managed to create some really nice mashups and generally spun some awesome tunes. I got to dance my ass off for the first time in ages. On Rocky Butte! It was so incredible.
Admittedly, getting back home was a bit terrifying. At least the part going down Rocky Butte in nearly pitch dark. Luckily all was well in the end. Now I need to go to bed, 'cause I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep this week.
