Among the more curious odds and ends unearthed from the bowels of my old couch when gutting it and getting it moved to the dumpster:
A Phillips Screwdriver about a foot in length.
An electronic guitar tuner.
An unused Wii Points card still in the blister packaging.
And who says there's no surprises to be had in life.
Also, Kurt Cobain died 15 years ago today. It sucks to have lost an important cultural figure of my childhood, and yeah, I remember where I was when I heard the news. But I can't bring myself to mourn the loss of somebody who did it to themselves. That's not sorrow, it's pity, and pity is such an ugly, condescending thing.
