(no subject)
The past few weeks have been interesting, so here's a little rundown of what's been going on.
1 -- My foot is in PAIN. I have no idea why, but my right foot is hurting to the point where I almost can't stand on it. I hope it gets better soon.
2 -- Derek leaves today for Hawaii. He won a free trip through some Ryan Seacrest show, and so he and Tiffaney are going to be staying in this fab hotel and they get to go see the pro-bowl. Their hotel is right on Waikiki beach! Needless to say, I'm jealous. I hope they have fun, and I can't wait to see them both when they arrive on Valentine's Day.
3 -- I went to a professor's house yesterday in lieu of having an actual class, and he made us a really nice lunch of corn chowder, chili, sandwiches and so on. His house is in Newark Valley and the building itself is beautiful, very much something you'd see on a mountainside in the Rockies with lots of wood and windows and open space. We went to his place to get books, since he has an extensive archaeological library -- and we found out that back in the day our professor was H-O-T. (insert drool here)
4 -- I've been having fun reading Preston Burns' website. In case you haven't read it yet, head to http://www.prestonburns.com
5 -- Last Saturday we had a potluck party at Marissa's -- yummy food, very fun. Said goodbye to Della who is on her way back to Washington State.
6 -- I weighed myself today and I'm still in the 150s so that makes me happy. I thought maybe I had ventured back into the 160s, but nope.
Anyway, I guess that's it. I hope to see a movie or two this weekend since I've been behind in that regard. I also hope my foot heals! Ugh!
