Ok, so I agree with her in principle: the Canadian government has been promising to do something about hospital waiting lists and overflow for too long and getting nothing done for even longer. I find it unlikely, however, that she and I would be in agreement as to the proper method with which to correct this fact

Sorry to inform you, but "political" is not a reference to the USA. Canada, and indeed every city and town and neighborhood on earth has its own set of politics. I deal with Canadian politics, if that isn't your thing, you're free to look elsewhere. I would ask, however, that you do me the favour of no longer posting comments to my articles if you don't have anything meaningful to say.
