Today is my last day at Amgen. Found out that I hit 1500 hours, so I get an extra paycheck next week.
I start my tech writing job on Monday. I hope that I can take the bus, though I need to find the route.
I should have taken a couple of days in between. I probably would have just played CoH.
After many attempts, I have gotten the dual processing functionality of my computer going. I have noticed a small step up in speed which is nice and there doesn't seem to be any problems as of yet. I will probably stop worrying after a couple of weeks, but right now, I don't want to burn something out so I am going to watch it closely. Thanks to all the people who offered up processor goop, but rendertarget was miraculously able to find a bottle in the varying boxes and bags that are still unpacked upstairs.
I talked to winterjaye momentarily yesterday while I was trying to get a hold of my Camarilla boss. I hope that she is holding up and that things are okay. We miss you. Come home soon.
Roll the dice and that will answer any questions regarding the house.
Did some roleplay over email that I was not expecting. It was actually more going into someones haven, checking things out and leaving. It was quite shocking to find the old wackadoodle there. The benefits of knowing one's limits came into play.
A toss up between games and a game. Was asked about playing D&D but it is on the same night as I go hang out with people from my chapter (that really seems odd to be saying, for some reason). I hate to commit to something and not be there a couple of nights a month, but I want to also play D&D. The debate continues.
Beyond that, Adrian took me to lunch and I was joined by a few other people from the office.
I am now back to finishing off the rest of my day and then heading home. I think the plan is to head over to Kitsap for the C/A game, but all things are dependant on external forces changing the malleable structure of the universe and moving us forward into the future.
Ciao bella
