Oh Joyous Wednesday
So I got my confirmation that I passed the background check and all the other happy crap necessary for me to start working next week. I am glad since I gave my two weeks notice, a week and a half ago. Silly monkeys.
Last night I made some progress on Dark Gravity (my CoH) character and though I did not make a level, I soloed a mission that I thought was pretty hard for a solo character to do. I was impressed with my characters ability to take down the undead bad guys. I have worked out a rhythm to the character that seems to work fairly well. I went ahead and procured Teleport, though I had some reservations about it. I suspect though as time goes on, that it will be fairly useful. I am finding that I have focused on the Gravity powers (which are mighty cool) and have left the Kinetics ones behind. I am going to reevaluate that decision and check out the other Kinetics powers, since the one that I do have worked quite well and was fairly useful while soloing that mission last night.
My father is coming through town on his way up to Alaska. He will be visiting next Friday or Saturday. He wanted to hit some antique stores and look for glass insulators (he has been collecting them). If anyone knows where I might be able to find some, please let me know.
I am probably going to venture to the Changeling game on Saturday to see what Ruth has to say. While I will probably not get involved with the game this late in the game, I will see if she is interested in having someone play NPC's (I can always use the extra prestige, XT or whatever they give out these days). After that, I will probably play at the Outlands Game. I also suspect, if she is feeling up to it, that I might go over to Kitsap with Peg on Friday. I always enjoy the wackiness that ensues there, and most of the players are fun to be around. Besides, I haven't had a chance to visit with dragons_dreams in a while.
That's about it for now. Tonight is laundry and dishes, working on updating the financials and probably jumping into CoH for a little while. I shall be in the Justice server playing Dark Gravity if anyone wants to say hello.
Beyond that, things seems well.. for now..
