Friday was a fairly uneventful evening. I spent most of it playing City of Heroes trying to level up my controller character that I made. She is quickly becoming my favorite character as she is all about gravity. I am debating what to do when I hit 6th level and receive another power. There are actually some fairly nifty ones that aren't flying or teleport.
Saturday I headed over to Bremerton, riding over on the ferry with my friend Dave, then going out to sushi with him, Logan and Mike. As always the food was faboo. Then we headed back to Discordia to play some Jyhad (Vampire), the CCG version. The games went well and even Mark behaved himself, even though he threw a bit of a tantrum late in the first game. My Nos deck needs to be tuned just a bit more and I should have a pretty good deck. I am missing some blood management cards and I could stand to take out a little more of the fluff. After the games, I took Logan home and decided to head back to Seattle. I got home around 4:30ish.
Sunday I hung out with Peg on IRC doing the Get of Fenris Moot. While I was planning on watching and not getting too involved, that of course didn't happen. Rain ended up acting as Truthcatcher during the moot and will be one of the individuals challenging for Eldest Philodox of the Tribe. I also involved myself in the handing out of the five forged hammers that are equivilent to Grand Klaives. The fellow that is challenging with me for one of them is from Scotland and we are both trying to get the challenge done quickly so that we can get on with our roleplay. Peg had to deal with stoopid staredown challenges from people at the beginning of the moot. One character was killed (accepted a challenge to the death). I made them fight in Lupus (which apparently homids like playing technicallities) with no gifts and no fetishes (since it happened during cracking of the bone, I was Master of Challenge too.) We started around noonish and took a break around 8:30 and then came back to it around 9:15 and they were still going when I went to bed at 1:00 am.
Monday I woke up with a terrible headache, but since i had taken the day off to go fill out paperwork with Volt, it didn't matter too much. I headed out to Bothell around 12:30 and took care of things. Stopped by the post office (still no chip) and then headed home. After about 6:00 things went into a flurry but after I got all the messages, called some people back and found out that things were okay, I felt a little better.
Tonight I am setting aside for me and Dark Gravity (unless something else intervenes, of course.)
