So it's soccer season and the soccerballs are in bloom. I am going to try to catch up on sleep. :) Man, I'm doing better than I was, but I'm still shaking off the effects of New Years and allergies, so here's a post instead.
Pet peeve of the week: People who don't read and then ask dumb and/or poorly worded questions. (Disincluded are times when the "manual" is vague, long, or insufficient.)
Example included below:
Example: I started a soloing character on World of Warcraft - an undead warlock. At level 10, you can get high from it. Like so many crazy urban legends, it's not true...although I haven't seen him in almost a decade and inflation has eroded its buying power by 20%.
Republicans raised the usual specter of hurting small businesses and having to fire workers to make ends meet now; however, small businesses have always been exempt from the minimum wage, businesses have actually had excellent profits this past decade, and the vast majority of actual economists believe the raising minimum wage hurts poor workers theory is hogwash (it certainly has little actual evidence behind it).

Yes, I know this is obvious, but being the type of person I am, I forget it all the time.) Anyhoo, the point is that he listened, was there with one-line of advice, and really made me feel better. Also, I miss him. I enjoy spending time with my family, but I've been gone too long from home.
