Things Fall Apart
The microwave cannot hold. I discovered this last night when I tried to defrost some hamburger. After a few seconds, the microwave started making a strange noise. Then it started smoking. The smoke was from melting plastic. Now I need a new microwave. The last one I had - my mom's old microwave - lasted for 20 years or so. This one lasted for three and a half.
But the good news is that I just saved a lot on my car insurance (really: I just switched to Geico and now I'm paying nearly $600 less a year).
