We are the only no kill shelter on the gulf coast, meaning we do not put down any animals
I'm currently volunteering, and about to be hired, by The Haven.
"The Haven is a 'haven' for homeless, neglected, and abused animals. We provide them with love and medical attention, with the goal of returning them to society as loving and loved pets. All animals that come through The Haven are spayed or neutered. We are a non-profit organization, dedicated to the welfare of the animals in our area, and are completely dependent on donations. Please consider making a donation to help us out. You will be making a difference in the lives of some very special animals. Donations can be mailed to "The Haven" and are tax deductable. Thank you.
We are very limited by space as to the number of animals we can help. For this reason, we do not take peoples pets that need to find new homes. We use our cages for animals that do not have any people to help them. We keep a bullitin board in our lobby and allow people who are looking for new homes for pets to post pictures and descriptions there for people to see when they come to our shelter looking for a new companion." If you are looking for a loving dog, cat, kitten, or puppy, please come to us. The holidays are coming up, and these animals need attention and love. Please, if your just sitting around the house doing nothing one day, come down and see the animals. just pet them and love them, thats all they want. Merry Christmas everyone
