So I achieved my goal of catching up on sleep last night. I went to bed at 9:30 and slept like a rock until I woke up on my own about 15 minutes before my 8:15 alarm I'd set. Reset the alarm to 9:00 and finally got up when it went off. God bless 11.5 hours of sleep! Boy did I need it...
