Oh you! I wondered if you were paying attention, I should have known you were. If I get too cryptic, ask. I'm sure that one was obvious. The first night I was ever on the air (which was at WTHI, oddly enough) I wrote down everything I was going to say during the break. I like the "full circle" aspect. I was able to experience a little bit of that in '99-'00 when I was working for Artistic Media in Lafayette. I was doing mornings on WAZY when we bought WLLF 95.3 FM. It was a 100% satelite country station, but I had to cut weather inserts. My voice was again on the very first frequency I ever worked on. WLLF had gone through several call letter changes and owners since I worked there from '78 to '82 under the slogan Happy Radio! 95.3 WVTL FM!

Well, I got a kick out of it anyway.....

Happy Radio...oh that would SO not be okay today, isn't that funny?

But yes, it is nice to be where I always wanted to be. I just wish it would pay the bills.

Thats the only problem with small markets. Gigs that pay well are few and far between. Heck, a live mid day show is a luxury most markets that size have already cut. HI99 is one of the smart stations that knows if they track the mid day, those #s are gonna tank. They aint gonna mess with success. Now ya gotta figure out how to make 'em pay you for it.

I hadn't seen you in so long I figured you weren't bothering anymore with my silly prattle.

You don't know how hard it is not to post how much I adore my daughter and all the reasons why this is so. ;-)
