I'm laughing out loud at a friends embarrassing story
...and it brought to mind that dream. I wonder if we've all had it. The one where you go to high school and you get to your locker and you're taking off your coat when you suddenly realize you are completely naked?
Or you're in a play in a prominent role and you've got it down, and the night before you open you dream you're in a play and you walk onstage and suddenly realize you have no idea what play it is, what role you're playing or what in the world you're supposed to say?
Or you've got a new gig and you dream that nothing in the control room works and you have to talk and somehow fill the time while also trying to figure out why the cart deck won't work and the turntable won't work and you don't think you've ever seen a board like that and you forgot your headphones? Ackk!
Dreams like that make me want to tear my hair out. Of course, having been at my current station for 9 years now, I enjoy four weeks of vacation a year and have become relatively complacent. I haven't had a dream like that in years.
