Vacation suggestions?
For most of our relationship, Miah and I have vacationed in a warmer spot sometime over the winter. After New Year's, if you can survive the inversion and subzero temps of January, you deserve a reward. Normally, we drive to L.A. for a concert. Last year's week in Florida tromping around Disney World was heavenly.
Now that I'll be starting work soon, we have the funding to continue the tradition. However, we're not sure where to go. I can't drink or hot tub; I'd rather avoid secondhand smoke. Can't ride the fun rides at Disneyland. What's a girl to do? I wish there was a nonsmoking casino in Wendover.
Anyone have suggestions for a moderately priced, quick (less than 3 hour flight) vacation we can take over President's Day weekend somewhere warm with activities for a prego lady? Contemplating San Diego's Sea World. I've never been there, dunno if it's worth it. Does the Grand Canyon live up to its reputation? Any other ideas?
