The day the earth stood still

Today is the ninth anniversary of the World Trade Center Tragedy, September 11th, 2001.

Today will always be known as 9/11. Time will make us stop honoring it as much as we do now. Hell this year barely felt like a day of rememberance. Most people wouldn't even remember if it weren't on the news all day long.

But today is so much more than just a US tragedy. Its a day that marks the deepening of ignorance. Ignorance brought on by fear and bigotry.

Muslims did not cause the tragedy. The tragedy was brought on by well thought out plans by the world's most hated terrorist. He didn't do this for religious purposes, political is the reason.

So when people say Muslims did this, or there should be no Mosque near ground zero. I say to them, build your church there too. Make ground zero a conglomeration of all the major and minor religious organizations. Make it the biggest holy land in the United States, forget Branson.

Bring love and tolerance together at Ground Zero. When the terrorist attack occured, people dropped their bigotry, they dropped their ignorance, and worked together to pull through. Continue that..

Make Ground Zero a place where everyone to be one, no matter their faith, social status, color, citizenship, gender, age, sexual orientation, or anything else you may not agree or like.

The people who died, they don't want your anger towards others. They want peace. An end to the violence. Even if the violence is just words and rhetoric.

PEACE
LOVE
UNITY
RESPECT
