(no subject)
The dig yesterday was all kinds of wonderful. I'm suffering a little bit, but it was definitely worth it. I'll post some pictures when we upload them.
I believe that the site was visited by de Soto sometime in the 1500s. We didn't find any Spanish related items, but we found lots of sherds, flakes of flint (and projectile points), and some animal bones.
If Amanda hadn't already decided she didn't want to be an archaeologist, she did after yesterday :p
Well, I really need to get back to my statistics project. It really shouldn't have taken me this long to finish... After that I get to study for an exam in statistics (yes, a little inconvenient), and then I get to start on my paper in Arch. Yippeeeee!
