Bittersweet Birthday
Today is my cousin Kristy's birthday...growing up, she was my best friend and everyone thought we were twins because of how much we looked alike... and she was exactly 6 months older than me, to the minute.
if i had a picture handy i'd show you all, i need to work on that.
the summer of 2000, between my 7th and 8th grade year, she was killed in a car accident, and it absolutely crushed me.
I have no doubt in my mind that she has watched over me during some of the most difficult trials of my life...including her own passing.
