Fucking March! It always is teasing you. The month is like one big tease. First, the temperature is just fine. Not to cold, not to hot. Then it's cold. Then it is real cold. But wait, its nice out again. Look, the buds are popping out on the trees. The next thing you know there is 12 feet of snow on the ground. No matter, we finally booked the Keys trip today. In a little over a week and half I will be lying on a beach doing nothing but drinking Coronas, Yeungling, and other fine alcoholic beverages. Even better is that we got a pretty good deal, which is surpringing considering the time of year and how close the trip is today. We only pay $629 for 4 nights, which include airfare. The hotel is right on the beach, and it looks oh so relaxing. I just hope to God that it is good weather. I think I might kill myself if I go down there and it is rainy and cloudy. I think I deserve some luck, God.
I have a test tomorrow in Philosophy. That should be interesting. It isn't going to be hard, it's just a matter of writing everything down that needs to get written down to get an A. I should probably be studying actually right now instead of writing in this damn thing. It seems as I have begun to use this more and more, I feel a better sense of getting to know what I accomplished in a day. Tomorrow is one of my busiest day, considering it is only 1 of 2 days that I actually have classes. I just am so tired of doing work, which is bad in my case because I still have to do well this semester. Apparently I won some award in Political Science. Delana told me, but I am not supposed to know until it is announced. That's two awards so far. I won another from the Honors College. I am not sure if I am going to get any from Sociology this year, considering I already won $500 from them last year. We shall see.
Let this be a lesson to you, though, no matter how long you think your worthless there is always some bright light that awaits you. And, no, it's not death. Rather, I like to call it inspiration and satisfaction. And we all know what they say about satisfaction.
I still can't wait for summer, the Keys, and graduation!
