Life....was really waiting for me...
Two weeks into the new job and everything is going swimmingly!
I got paid today, first time I received actual pay in .... let's just say way too long.
It's very weird to actually have money again and be able to afford to buy things instead of just literally scraping by to pay bills.
Everything and I mean everything feels like it's changing at a rapid pace. For the first time in years I actually feel ready to go out in the world and maybe, just possibly meet somebody. But for now, it just feels good to know I have a purpose again and that getting up in the morning means that at the end of the day I will have made my life better, little by little every day.
Now when I'm bored, I can actually go out and do things. I'm actually saving up my pennies now because I plan on taking my first real vacation in more than nine years around my birthday...as long as I can get the time off. I'm either going to go to Vegas for 4-5 days, or maybe to Mexico for a week. October works perfectly because I can save money up til then but I also get paid three times that month, so bonus money is awesome!
Time for the weekend! It will be strange to actually appreciate them again, lol. Even if I'm getting up early to go watch my nephew play hockey tomorrow.
