Ok...more news.
My 2nd appearance on WREK 91,1FM will be scheduled sometime tentatively the middle to end of September. Wonderful. This gives me plenty of time to buy new records, get accustomed to them, and create an all new super-killer set. :)
In bigger & better related news, I will be put on the roster as one of several prestigious DJs to perform for a charity function being produced by Nate Fischer and www.Dance4Relief.org on Saturday August 13th in Atlanta.
I feel very fortunate to become a part of this event. Dance4Relief (D4R) is a non-profit organization that holds invitation-only parties to "generate financial support for the 2004 tsunami disaster relief via the collaboration of the local Atlanta electronica followers and music industry players." The event will begin at a condominium in Midtown and then move to a local nightclub nearby where the VIP area will be used to dance the night away. A FREE open bar will be available all night with Red Bull on hand to keep the energy rolling. For more information to attend, CLICK HERE for invitation, donation, and location information. So, slip the kids a NyQuill and Jack Daniels coctail in their dinner...then grab your party dress from the dry cleaners. This is a great event for a good cause you don't want to miss!
NOTE: This is also a big step for me both personally and as a professional DJ. This could lead me to bigger and better things to come. (Finally, I get to eat at the Thanksgiving table with the rest of the grown-ups. :D :cool: )
