Congrats Rem!
Congratulations to Rem and Kim (especially Kim since she did all the work) on the healthy birth of their son Joseph yesterday!
A few of us went to the hospital with Rem this morning to see the baby and help him bring them home. Well, Kristen helped, the rest of us just fussed over the kid. It's amazing how tiny a newborn baby is, with perfect little fingers and toes and everything. Joseph has a tuft of black hair and big blue eyes, he looks a lot like a miniature Rem who has been beaming from ear-to-ear every since the kid was born yesterday morning. I got to hold Joseph for a moment and it felt incredible but scary. I was terrified of dropping him and he was so tiny, so fragile. He made these kind of gurgling noises and then started crying so I handed him off to Kristen who returned him to Kim for feeding. I guess he was hungry.
Something like this reminds you of what's really important in life!
