Wassup to my homies
Back in Greenville from a little trip to Asheville last week. Spent a couple days trying to get my room organized again (every time I come back here I have more shit with me). I now have a sweet little TV for my room plus a DVD player and some videro games. I've been starting to pull my audition material for Hello Dolly together. Tomorrow is my time slot- shouldn't be too hard. I'm not too hung up on this one. Hello Dolly isn't a great show and if I'm not in it I can most definitely get a job and start making some (desperately needed money)
Last night we got hit by a really sweet storm. Huge winds, lightening, torrential rain- the works. Saw Ali for a bit in her new apartment with Deb N, and got some shit worked out with Tim and Dan regarding music.
Started back to school today with my new medication prescription of Concerta- this stuff is working wonders for me- it's my second day but I feel so good about things- less stressed- it's awesome. Woke up at 6:00 for a 20 minute run- made breakfast, took a shower and went to 8am ballet. I have a new teacher named Timore (Tee-more) who teaches a slightly advanced Ballet 1 and I have a feeling he's gonna whip me into shape.
10am was the big Back-To-Meisner class. It went pretty well. Did a small bit of repetition to get back into the groove of things but nothing too crazy yet. Claire is my partner for a while for which I am very grateful- I don't want to be able to get away with shit and she usually doesn't let me. Greg even gave me a nice little comment- he thinks if I start working some shit out with the technique I should be excellent at character work.
Took a break until 4:00- played some Wii with Randall who is in town briefly. Tolbert and I have unnarmed combat from 4-6- another intense class that should really whip me into shape.
Tomorrow I have more Ballet, a tap class (yes!), a Shakespeare class (hell yes!), and musical theatre. Tim is my duet partner and we're singing a really badass song from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I got switched out of Karen's voice class and into a new voice teachers lessons. I have some positive and negative thoughts about this change. I had a long talk with M Tehaney about the situation and I'm ready to give it a shot.
We are short a roommate currently and searching frantically for someone. Does anyone know anybody who needs a roommate in Gville?
