Random things from today
I did horribly on my Sociology final today, and I think that is because I just never got a chance to rehearse it and it wasn't focused nearly enough. My platform subject was same-sex marriages. Going into it I felt very confident, but as I started talking, I realized there was no way to cover everything I wanted to cover so i started skimming stuff and not spending enough time where I needed to. Then that made me nervous so I started stumbling over my own words and sounding quite ignorant which pissed me off. By the time I got to the Q and A bit I was furious with myself and almost forgot what Poligimy was. I left without checking my grade, cause the professor pretty much told me afterwords that is sucked.
My evening went much better. I did my standup routine for the troup and they all thought it was pretty good, and gave me some very useful feedback. So basically I feel a lot better about going live tomorrow evening at Cafe Caribe!
I guess I'm done with my exams (unless I opt to take my optional physics exam which takes place at thursday at 8 am- unlikely cause if I score below and 86 my grade will drop and I really don't want to risk it).
Tonight was my last Taco Tuesday at the dining hall (tear)... they were pretty good tacos.
In other news, the Jump, Little Children Live at the Dock Street Theatre CD was released today, but it was already sold out by the time I logged onto the website. I want it.
Thursday evening I am leaving ECU and spending the night in Kernersville. Early Friday I will be driving home. Fuck yeah.

Damnit, I just checked my grades, and my sociology final dropped my grade to C. Fucking shit.
