I have so much still to do before I move and I hope I can get it all done in time. I’m still planning on leaving sometime around the first part of February. I’m waiting to get my $300 bonus from volt before I go. Its $200 actually, after taxes.
My plan is to get a moving truck and tow my car behind it on a trailer, that way I don’t have to worry about it crapping out or not being able to carry enough stuff with me. The problem I ran into is that those trucks are ass expensive. Every estimate I’ve gotten falls in the $850-$1,200 range. I had no idea they cost so much. I’m really going to have to watch my money and scrounge for a while. I still need money for a storage place and money to live on. I just hope I can save enough. It seems like everyone is trying to get money from me too. I’m about to tell everyone to fuck off and just keep all of my money….to bad I can’t really do that.
The job situation and a place to live are still vague for being this close to deadline. I wish Marissa would figure something out with this apartment I would like to sub-lend from some girl. I can never get a hold of her and when I do she has no new information about it.
I’ve applied with Intel but their site is so fucked up I can’t get it to apply for the specific job position I want. I’m going to have to track down the number for their HR department and try and make some progress that way. I’m also going to call Volt over there in NM and see what they have open.
