Screw you, math!

Not really, but it's incredibly ironic that I'm in Computer Science (or pre rather) and I just hate math so much.

Anyoo, summoned up the ...I wouldn't say courage, but the strength to play RE4 again. And being the dull lightbulb that I am, I had to backtrack from the village and, guess what happened? Remember I said I hid Ashley from the tower to take care of some business (ie, ganado/las plagas eradication)? Well, for some reason, I pushed the R2 button, which was the command for her to stay put or follow...I had no idea that ganado could hear that well. Then again, parasites. So, when I heard the spanish, it was like MGS all over again; the sudden ! and the alarm going off. Then on top of that I tried reclimbing the ladder so Ashley can go back up...well, she was captured. So, I had to jump all the way down and take care of it, wasting ammo and health in the process. Surprisingly, I didn't die from this.

So, going all the way back to the house, and...I didn't die! (Nani? She didn't die?!) Don't even ask how I even pulled that off. I did a bunch of running and chucked grenades whenever there was a gang of las plagas, the bastards...but yeah, I ran around a lot, knocked down the ladders so I won't be ambushed. And I actuall had some spare ammo. I'm talking nearly 15 shells of shotgun here and about 50 round of handgun. No grenades left I don't think but I'm a pretty good shot. I think. So, I take the left path, dealt with the Bella Sisters, which was kinda easy. In fact, all chainsaw people are easy as long as you're very distant from them and you have plent of ammo/grenades. If they get close, just run past because their reaction sucks lemons, unless you just ran into them. Even then...

But, got through with that and I don't think I died on the second horde of ganado...I think I did, but only once. I forgot what I did as the mist- oh, trying to knife people down. Yeah, it doesn't work very well when they gang up on you. Or misuse it. So, I pretty much get out of it scot-free. I died trying to shoot  the truck again (I think this is what pissed me off last time) but I used the shotgun yay. And took care of the leftovers with a single grenade. Awesome. ^_^

So, got to the merchant, sold my handgun (since it kinda sucks) and got the Attache Case (L), Riot Gun, and the Semi with 1 upgrade each. Yeah, I was pretty much broke after that. But I felt empowered. So, got to the place I stopped long ago, and sniped them. Mwahaha. So, the catapult thing happens and I run about; the first time I left Ashley under the bridge and went on ahead. I shouldn't done that because long story short, she got captured, I got distracted, dead. So, read the guide, sniped some more people...

Got into the castle foyer where this guy is standing there like "DURRRR", so not to miss a shot, I used the rifle and *boom* headshot. I kinda went in and all of a sudden, I get hit by a flaming arrow. So, it's like WTF just happened. So, I kinda got to where he was pretty obscured, but I could see his hand/arm. So, I shot 'em. Then I go down the steps and I see these guys with shields and maces. So, I go back, plug 'em, but I think there's the stage two las plagas because it doesn't completely tear off their head...like a Pez dispenser. That thing is much fatter, but it's also a bit easier to kill because...well, it's huge!

I take care of them; I get the key and all of a sudden, there's hordes of 'em. I'm going wtf the entire time and, I have little ammo (shotgun anyway) and I had the fire grenade. BURN, BABY, BURN! So we get out and into the.. very inside? And Salazar...is a freaky midget. I mean, good grief. That happened (and my fingers were itching for the button mash but it never did) So, did some other things and I told Ashley to wait at the top of the stairs and went down...and saw that thing. I forgot what's it called but it's blind. I was so scared of it, I think I stared at it for 5 minutes. Even shot at it a couple of times. I had to be like right in front of it to get it awake. My first attempt was more or less trial and error, with lots of error. I shot the bell, but it was close to the bell and it like destroyed it and charged at me. I can't run because it'll hear me so I just lightly tapped the run buttons so Leon'll lunge a bit...welp, I got smacked around a bit and what happened was the thing plunged the claws into Leon through his head and then his gut. Now, that's gotta be the coolest death I've seen so far. It's something new. Being killed by a stray weapon or ax (believe me it happens), gets tiresome. At the same time, I was shocked. Probably even more if I hadn't watch all 110 death scenes.

I think I'm gonna cut off here because after that, there's nothing really interesting except I died. No ammo with the combination of Death by Ashley.

...also, I think I'm turning into a Leon fangirl. I'm not quite sure if that's a bad or a good thing.

long story..., re4, kills
