WHYWHYWHY do Neko Case and Amanda Palmer have to be playing Northampton the very same night? Mere blocks away from each other? I'm in agony, I tell you. (Normally it would be a non-issue, since I'm broke, but Schuyler very thoughtfully and generously offered to buy me tickets to the show of my choice. So sweet, so maddening.)

I think I have to go with Ms. AFP. I know Neko's discography much better, and have wanted to see her for longer, but the AFP show is in a smaller venue and promises a bit more wacky fun.
