So I'll be giving you two things that you can think about. Or at least look at in dumbfounded awe that anyone would make a post about them...
The first is the is a guy by the name Yisrayl Hawkins. Yep, that's his name. He had it legally changed from his birth name of Buffalo Bill Hawkins, so I'm not sure if he's better off now or not. Anyway, he's a the leader of a group calling themselves the House of Yahweh based out of Abilene, Texas. Actually that sort of makes sense because there's nothing that makes you think of the end of the world like Abilene. Which brings me to the reason I bring him and his church up. He's decided, after looking through all of the appropriate texts of course, that the world is going to be destroyed in fire by a nuclear, wait no, nukuler exchange which will kick off on 12 September 2006. So now you can get rid of those long-term stocks without feeling too guilty. Now he did predict that the world was going to end in October of 2000 as well, but that was probably just a trial run to make sure everything was working correctly and this time it's for certain. Now I will tell you of one of those things that have always confused the hell out of me. I spend a certain amount of time on YouTube and every now and then I come across what can only be called a phenomenon. There is a vidblog posted by the user, lonelygirl15. All in all, it's pretty boring, but it, like all videos with young, attractive females, has garnered a following and a fan base of a sorts. What's really got me confused is that there has now risen another group who have taken it upon themselves to prove the falsity of lonlygirl's existence. They follow it all with the rabidity of Oliver Stone with new Zapruder footage. It's weird. And this is not to mention the people who've taken on their own status by making parodies of the lg15 vids. I'd just like to know where all of these people have the free time and money and if I could get a slice...
