Petrol price study

Sep 27, 2005 09:16

OK so since I've adopted my mum's car I've realised the cost of petrol and how much I use when galavanting around the country. So what have I found out with respect to fuel prices around the country. Here is a summary:

Hemel Hempstead 92.9-95ppl
Oxford 94.9-98ppl
London 95-100ppl (Found a cheap Shell station @90.9ppl in Watford but that seems to be a one off)
Harlow 91.9-95ppl

So what's the price like in Cov? Just before the whole "is there going to be a shortage thing" I think the Cov Sainsbury's Filling Station was 89.9ppl so what is it now? Haven't been to Cov since the supposed petrol crisis and wondering if it's worth filling up before the weekend or when I'm there.

Generally I guess the affluency of the area is proportional to the price of petrol so filling up in London or Oxford are silly ideas. Anybody further north than Cov? Paul, what's the price like in Preston?

Richard
