Bah, so close and so far away. It seems like no matter what, there's going to be at least one death that happens at the end of a level with no checkpoints. If I didn't die at all, I'd assume 2:55 could've been had. I guess I should stop delaying that DVD recorder though - my times are improving at the very least, so sub 3hrs should happen soon. A weird thing I've noticed is that the position of my sensor bar is part of what causes some of my mistakes. The signal from the Wiimote randomly dies when it's positioned directly underneath my TV, which causes some moves to temporarily not work. (For example: JUMPING in a PLATFORM game) When I have it balanced on my N64 and a few N64 games, it never dies, but it can't seem to reach the top left corner of the screen. This is a weird problem...
My brother had surgery the other day; apparently there's something wrong with his appendix. No one really filled me in, but I had to watch over him on my days off, which kinda sucks. So much for seeing what few friends I hang around with nowadays. On another whiny note, my paycheck's going to be slightly shorter this time around since I called out for a wedding that didn't even take all day, (but mom kept telling me to call out anyways) and I had to leave early a few days to go get breakfast for my bro, who was asleep for those times. Oh, and the management for overnights is just retarded, but I don't feel like getting into that. I just felt like mentioning that since even though I called out for the first time in months (on Saturday, the day of the wedding), my boss still yelled at me. There's people that have called out over 10 times in the past 3 months; I call out for the first time since like, May, and he yells at me. Wth...There's tons more problems, but I'll save the text for another time.
On a positive side though, I've been pretty much avoiding buying food on my work days. (I guess it isn't all that positive considering that I'm underweight, but yeah lol.) I spend about 3 bucks a night now, only buying a drink and some candy. It gets rough towards the end of the day, but it's worth it. From the looks of things, I should still have 2k when my check rolls around, which means I'm somehow saving $300...There's no way all that could be saved from not buying just food, though, don't you think? I wonder...Also, Wal-mart set up Rockband in apparel, so I've been playing that during my lunch period. It's funny how everyone thinks I'm amazing at the drums, when really it's just Drummania on easy mode. (auto kicks ftl) I wish they had the mic set up so I can show off how much I don't know the songs, but oh well. There's my update for now.
