So today was election day, after our government collapsed earlier this year. The results have been fragmented. The centre right christian party remains the biggest, labour goes down but is still second and the socialists went way up and our now the third party. It's gonna be tough to form a new government as the three main parties probably won't fit together.
One thing that worries me is that at the righter end of the spectrum, a populist anti-islam party has won nine seats out of nothing. I'm often disgusted by their sick and self-centered rhetoric and can only hope that their influence will only be minor.
On a remarkable side note: the animal rights-party won two seats! That's the first "animal" party in europe. Strange times we live in.....
