Weekend Update
Just wanted to update on what happened this weekend...
Friday: POTD!!! I went and got a haircut so I could look my best for Buffy and went over to Mike and Andy's to try to figure out the rest of my Mad Hatter's set. Things look promising. Just need to fine tune. I went to the PartyPlex to help set up and set out to pick up my friend Roland. Came back at about 10 and got to see the last bit of Cypher's set. He was pretty mad and kind of blew me off when I said what's up to him. Oh well. Walked around a bit and creamed my pants when Carlos started his set. The first song he threw down just owned!!! He had people pumping their fists and getting all crazy. After his set, we went to check out the headliners. Fucking INTENSE!!! Blew my friggin' mind man. Then walked around some more and caught some of Lucas' set. Good shit to anyone who's been under a rock and doesn't know who he is. Anyway, I got to see Dave (Dante) and he looks a bit different from last time I saw him. he seemed happy. I also got to see MY (and only MY) Buffy and hung out with Jacob, Joe, and Koma. I am sooooo glad I went to the show.
Saturday: Woke up and cleaned my room a bit. My Coke Bottle called and told me she was still moving stuff back home. She asked if I could go out and buy a charm and a card for a grad party we were going to. I went to James Avery and bought a nice charm and got a cool card. That's a big deal considering I'm a guy. I also found some things I would like to buy her for her b-day. She keeps telling she doesn't want anything and that she was not raised to expect things, but I want to show her how much I appreciate her. I was thinking of starting a GOLD charm bracelet for her. First one would be a gold shamrock because we got together on St Patricks Day. Anyway, we went to the grad party and ate, then headed out to a quincenera for one of my cousins. My family loved her and my mom was happy to see me with her smiling and having a great time. After that, we went to a going away party for someone at work and halfway through the party we decided we wanted to go swimming. We left and went to buy swimsuits at Wal-Mart and when we got to her place, we passed out. Exhaustion just got to us I guess...
I love spending time with her. I have a blast every time. She starts school on Tuesday and when she moves back in with her parents, our "alone" time is gonna seriously be impaired. She worth it though. I've never felt so happy with anyone else. Back then, I was happy, but knew it wouldn't last. Now I feel happy and trust that I will remain that way.
