Good weekend
Friday at The Next Element went pretty well, could have been a bit busier but it was still fun. DJ SLT and Amdeide both did really well. We have pretty big bands the next two weeks - hopefully we get good turnouts.
Saturday I went to Dethklok which was really fun. I didn't know how a cartoon band would perform, but they were great. The actual band played on Stage but they also had the cartoon guys on a huge screen behind them. There were little funny bits that the cartoon guys did between songs too, very entertaining show - except the fact that is was insanely packed. It was sold out, and actually I think they oversold it. You could barely move in there, which also meant it was really hot. After that I went to GZ, I was so tired that I had to take a nap back in the green room for an hour or so. I did dance for almost an hour straight, which was good I've been slacking in that department for a while.
Yesterday I finally got my "new" computer fully working. I had to replace the power supply as what I had wasn't big enough for the new video card I wanted to install. I also had to reinstall all of my audio drivers, but now it runs like a charm. I bought almost all of my parts here: tigerdirect.com - Fantastic deals (They have a couple of great deals on Flash drives today; 4 gig for $15, 8 gig for $30). I started Neverwiter Nights 2, which seems really fun so far. I also bought Half Life 2, which I had heard good things about, I will start that after NWN 2.
