Enjoying playing....
...Rock Band. I don't think I'll need Rock Band II for a bit - this one has *two* NIN packs, and one of the tracks is "The Collector" from With Teeth which has the most kickass drum part.
I've toyed with the idea of playing the guitar or doing vocals, but at the moment I'm having so much fun with the drums. I have to stop eventually because my bass pedal leg gets tired, but I'm really struck (ha ha) by how much you get into a rhythm (ha) with the patterns. When I get off track (by hitting say the snare instead of the tom), it takes me a bit to wrench myself back into the pattern, but I'm getting better at knowing how to hop back on the little song train. It's like trying to jump on a merry go round - you're waiting for your time to come around and it has to come at a certain point - you can't just jump on any old place.
I walked Mikey and Kittin earlier - man, it got cold out again. Kittin was wanting to run everywhere, but Mikey settled in pretty quick. Picking up the leashes and then putting one back because I didn't need three anymore was a bit difficult, but they were so happy to be going out it kind of smoothed things over.
