...this is unbe-fuckin'-lievable.
My L1 system Pwns you. Totally. Even at a reasonable volume, it's amazing. I do need to get a conditioner box for my mixer (the DJ one) power, because it sounds *really* dirty. When you get a system like this, it's possible to hear that. I turned it up just a bit, and it will knock the pants off of just about any audience/venue I can think of that I've played in. Even the bigger barn-type ones. The two bass units throw great bass at the non-boosted level - when you turn up the bass, it's totally sick.
I am convinced this was SO worth the money. Now all I need to do is hop on getting some local gigs to use it. There's a carrying case for each piece, and it all fits in my car along with my tables (in their cases) and mixers and CD players (in their bags) with room left over for Records and more records and such.
I can also hear it totally clearly in the other room - no muffled effect. I know the omnidirectional pattern's supposed to mitigate the bad effects of traditional loudspeaker systems, but I'm in the living room sitting on the couch and I can hear the record (lyrics, percussion, all of it) perfectly clearly.
Technology is amazing. I am a dork, I admit it. :)
