Thanks to all for your concern and support over the last few weeks, things are back on track, albeit with a few changes......
InfeKted Sound will be back very soon
i have handed control of [implant] over to Rhys and Sarah as i am confident they will do a good job and they have seen how i do things, i will be on hand to offer support and guidance and will still have input into the night and will still dj but maybe not on a regular basis. [implant will be cancelled untill April when it will be relaunched under new management as its our 5th Birthday (fucking hell!!! 5 years of noise in the north, who would have thunk it!) something special is afoot so be sure to keep tuned as this is likely to be my last dj slot as organiser, its been great running the club and - although immensley stressfull at times - it has been great fun and has helped to secure the UK on the noise map, is well known all over the world, a feat of which i am particularly proud, id like to personally thank everyone who has helped out in the past your assistance has been invaluable, now i had over control, im sad as the club is a part of me, but ultimatley i know this is the right decision and i wouldnt have given it to anyone else....ill still be about.
Many things came to a head recently and i realised i was doing too much, i have other things to concentrate on now.
The weekend was great, which involved hanging out at
cybergimp and miss_kat's with untermensch spinning a few tunes, then onto Bangface with the lovely djsynne, crazy pirate lady and ikklebabyj for a crazy night (actually i did this sober!) no sleep Saturday, out again for a rendez vous with connexion, missyk8 (the dirty spaff monkey) and the lovely
vixstar then met up with maschinegiest and queenbabypie then onto Slimes.
Unter Null was ok, not overly impressed but the majority seemed to enjoy, Sonar was awesome, one of the best shows ive seen, great to see people i havent seen for a while and glad to know i have the support i do, some excellent djing from the Slimes Crew followed by one of the best sets ive ever played in a back to back Vs untermensch, we really had some fun up there and played to a PACKED dancefloor the crowd was jumping all night, you guys rocked, we rocked, the weekend rocked! i love slimes when the atmosphere is like it was this weekend, everyone was up for it and it really gave me a huge boost, so cheers Slimelight noizefloor :) A nice chat with
akam_i on the underground on the way home, Managed to get about 4 hours sleep on Sunday then out to Garlic and shots and then all you can eat Sushi for £15 with the rest of the gang and a brief trip to the cop shop after one of ours nadbag was thieved whilst we ate meaning loss of money passport, house keys and flight ticket, hopefully everything was sorted, then i passed out watching Terminator 3, i rate that trilogy its underrated as i watched the first 2 earlier in the week and forgot how good they were, methinks i will have to purchase.
