Let me say something about myself. Ask a young child, I would have problems in class, weather it's math or doing homework. For a good part of my life, I would sometimes wonder why i could never do any of my homework right, or follow directions. In most families, one's parent(s) would always be there to support and help their child with simple ( Read more... )

Believe me, i would love to move out of parents house, but it's hard finding a job. At one point, me and my parents did sit down and talked but i feel like nothing got througt to her. What's worse is that my mother think im purposely forgetting things,as if i don't care about them. 2 days ago, my sister-in-law called to tell my father happy birthday, but then i forgot the tell him. Later that day, he tells me that she called him and asked why i didn't tell him earlier. I was honest, i told him i forgot, but the my mother's like "that nothing new from her" with an additude. They always like to remind me about my age when i fuck up in things, but sometimes i just want to just yell back "try being my age with a brain that doesn't want to work right. And to be recent, i had to call for jury duty. I had to pay attention to a date i need to call back, but my dogs barked so i missed hearing it. She got upset about it and she had to fix it for me, then she said see what would happen if i forget to call again (if i don't them back, i could get arrested) but i just want to tell her "if i get arrested, then i don't have to listen to her shit) look im not using my LD a crutch for all my problems, but it's hard to learn things when the only person when how can help you with stuff like that just can put up with you

If there's no support to be gained from them, don't try. Be your own motivation, it'll help you learn stuff better than hoping to get something that just won't come. Just remember that one day, when it all pays off and you're successful, you let them know that it sure as hell wasn't their doing.

What's jury duty...?

It had to explain what it is but Jury Duty is when you are summoned to the court house and get involved with a legal case. If you you don't attend without a valid reason, you could get arrested for civil disobedients.

*sigh* well until that day come when im on my own, i just got to hang in there v.v

But... but why would they involve random people who have nothing to do with that case!? o_Ox

I guess, sometimes that's all you can do. =/
Though being the unconvincible optimist that I am, I'd say that things will eventually get better, especially if you believe they will. This might sound cheezy, but things have a tendency to work out better if you work on them with a positive attitude. =)
