Holiday Week in Review
I've had a wonderful holiday week. It was great having April in town. I'm so glad that I was able to help out a woman who has meant the world to me for the past 19 years. Friday night I attend splendidly geeky party with mplsfish in Menomonee (ma ma me na na) Wisconsin. As an added bonus I wound up with a full pound of homemade fudge. Yummy yummy. Saturday I spend the day in bed. Let's just say I'm still pretty sore - and that's all the details you're getting. Sunday I spent a pleasant day with the kids, my parents, my sister and brother-in-law. Many, many calories were consumed. Today my daughter and I saw Aladdin at the Children's Theatre. Another fine production by an even finer theater company. It was basically the same version that Disney did in the animated feature but the genie was even more campy and there were a couple of full on dance line numbers that put it over the top.
