Edgar Wright Double Bill
So last Sunday I had a great time at the Ritzy Cinema once again - this time to watch a double bill of Shaun Of The Dead/Hott Fuzz. This will come as no surprise to anyone frequently reading my journal or anyone who has seen the no of tags I have on these movies ;) Sadly missy_manic could not make it but it was great to finally meet cirquemachine and catch up again with redderz and matirx7. The lucky _faeriequeen won a Scott Pilgrim t-shirt. It was also the first time I ever introduced myself to someone who I only previously knew through the realm of twitter. I've done that many time before here on LJ and am pleased that social media really does mean meeting new people from time to time.
I am finding it impossible to keep up with the publicity tour of the USA for Scott Pilgrim but loving all the Edgar Wright and Brandon Routh interviews. I cannot wait to see the movie :) Also thanks to someone on my twitter feed I was alerted to a Q&A with Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish at the bfi next week and so managed to get tickets for myself and missy_manic. Excited about this also :D
