Meant to post this earlier in the week. All month I had been looking forward to a screening of Airplane! followed by a Q&A with Leslie Nielsen. But the poor guy had to cancel :(
Totally understandable though. Instead the bfi screened Forbidden Planet starring a Nielsen in a serious role. I really enjoyed it - very much a precurser to the original series of Star Trek but with better special effects!
