So Michael Moore is a kind of a either you love/hate kind of guy. I like him, he makes serious issues entertaining in his documentaries and that make me think about it afterwards. I am well aware that his documentaries are not without bias - but then why should Fox News be the only ones? Why not have someone biased toward the other side of the coin so to speak. I was slightly irritated at the lack of explanation as to how the housing market in the USA collapsed - as an outsider its not so obvious. We too in the UK have problems but they are not necessarily the same. For me the concentration on the domestic issues that I never saw in the UK press were a highlight of the documentary - the wages of pilots, companies taking out insurance in the event of the death of employees for a profit (shocking) , and the Chicago labour strikes (inspiring).

I've watched some other documentaries US and UK politics that I have failed to mention so will do so in my next post.
