Ok, For Cereal Peoples

Why in the bloody hell are you evacuating? Come on. Any of us that were born and raised down here have ridden out plenty of bad hurricanes. Ike is no different. The fear mongering has got to stop. It's one thing to evacuate New Orleans, they're surrounded by water and below sea level, but Houston?! Come on now. Get a grip. It's allot of rain, heavy winds, on land.

I mean seriously, it seems ever since Katrina, everyone runs at the slightest sign of danger. What happened to everyone's cajones?! For serious! Look, I know, there's flooding, and the danger of power lines being down and yada yada, but come on, everyone of the people I know at least have common sense, just follow that and everything will be just fine.

Me? I've got the laptop powered up and the PSP charged, batteries, food, etc. The most I gotta worry about is maybe moving my electronics to the top floor. Hell, I'm kinda looking forward to it. I don't know why, but I love nature's destructive power and having been through numerous hurricanes, 2 tornadoes and 3 earthquakes, another hurricane sounds like, fun.

Speaking of fear mongering, I love the tune that weather channel uses for their hurricane shows. It's so worrisome and has a feeling that something bad is going to happen. It's beautiful I tell you. The music, the color scheme, all of it is meant to incite worry and doubt in the minds of viewers. Seriously, it's beautiful how it works so perfectly.

Anyhow, I say, enjoy the few days off the storm is going to bring you. Enjoy sometime with friends without the need of television or other electronic distractions. Maybe do some things that you've not done due to electronic distractions. I think I may go stay with my beautiful chef and enjoy some time with her.

As for Ike, bring it bitch, I'll play kick the baby with you're eye bitch!

BTW, make sure to watch this video, besides getting my point across, the music is good.
