Broken A/C's Suck But at Least We Have GTA, Almost
Yes. Broken A/C's suck. I had to buy fans this weekend because it was so hot int he house. Saturday by 3pm it was 105 in my room. I spent the afternoon outside on the porch playing my PSP and talking to friends on the tele. Anyhow, today the repair man come to the house and replaces the outlet int he attic the A/C was attached to. Here's the problem. The plug wasn't bad. It's the wiring from the fuse box outside to the plug for the A/C in the attic... Well, he's been paid I guess, so nothing I can do about that. For now I've got it jerry rigged. You'll all love this. I now have an extension cord running for the attic to a wall plug in the house! LOL But hey, at least the frackin' A/C works.
In other news, I'm quite excited, I just got the e-mail from Amazon telling me that my copy of GTA IV has shipped and will be here tomorrow morning!!! I'm going to be absolutely giddy with anticipation to go home and haul ass around Liberty City! Yes, I'm a total geek and I love it. FTW! The Steampunk bass is finally on it's way here. I just got the UPS tracking # this morning from the guy I bought it of of. I'm not to happy that I won it last Monday and it took him a full week to ship it, btu at least I know it's on it's way. For a few days there I was afraid I had fallen victim to the well known Ebay legendary rip off, but looks like I was wrong. Thank god.
This morning, while waiting on the repair man to get to the house I dl'ed Ayria's entire discography off iTunes and have been listening to it all day long. People in the office are digging it as well. I've had about 8 people walking past my office door knock and comment about how much they like the music. I should ask the Studio Director to give me another title, Official Midway L.A. Office DJ ROFL. People stop in and listen to the music I jam to when I'm working all the time, all I need is a shiny disco ball.
So it's officially unofficial, my new project is Sky Captain Genesis and the Clockwork Angels. DJ's and steamy dressed dancers. Can't go wrong there! Now what I need is a logo,anyone want to volunteer, and then pics of me and my dancers. Should have pics after the Ravenwood festival. Both of my girls are quite excited and can't wait for July to get here. It's nice to be working with people who are just as excited as I am about this event. We'll see how this works out and if everything is good, who knows, you might see us getting booked. This is my first foray into Steampunk as well as into Performance arts, as both the girls are planning to choreograph a few pieces which should be totally awesome! Heh, I have... girls... LOL
For those of you who give 2 shits, or don't, I'll be in Houston on vacation from Monday July 14 - Sunday July 20th. Unlike the last 2 times I came to town, this time I'm just coming to relax and have fun, no contracted gigs, though I still wouldn't mind throwing down a set someplace or places while I'm in town. With this many days I'm sure I'll have a better chance of seeing more of my friends than I did the last 2 times I was in town. Ahh the life of a star never ends... HA HA HA HA HA HA HA I'm just kidding you guys! I'm no star, I'm more like a black hole, I attract everyone, even when they don't want to be! ROFL
