Well Sat was awesome, except for one thing.....FUCK ALL PEOPLE TURNED UP
Fuckin sucks arse as now I'm about $800 in the hole. Such a good feeling to know that no matter how much ya try and help people out they never remember.
It sucks cause we went all out, there was free food, amazing lighting, 2 stages, sound was excellent, the bands were top notch, we had a stage show with sexy sillouete dancers and a pole with pole dancer on stage, 2 bands from Auckland, lots of blotter, and CD giveaways, as well as being at a bar where u can smoke with ur drink in hand and keep warm under heaters. Maybe all that effort wasn't worth $15 dollars.....
I fuckin think that it was. It also sucks that a mate of mine forgot that i told him when I got back from BDO, 2 months + ago, that I was bringing The Fanatics down from Auckland on the 1st of April. So now some ppl think I was trying to shaft him, even though the reverse prob happened. And this is someone I used to put gigs on with.
But blah
I still had an awesome time, our band went off again and I'm pretty certain we got the best crowd response out of the 4 bands. I can't wait to get the photos :)
We also got it filmed and recorded. Havn't heard or seen any of em yet but I can't wait.
Ladies beware we think someone spiked demi's drink on Sat. Suck arse huh. She and the baby should be ok, it was quite worrying when I found out though, the doctor says it shouldn't have an effect.
