Guess who is finally on vacation? thats right bitches! haha now if only i was on a nice beach, with a pretty lady in a bikini massaging me and a cold frosty drink in my hand. I know its been a while since I had an entry. Ive really been that busy. I hope to catch up on some things this vacation, but also do fun things and enjoy myself and mostly refresh my worn out battery. So much has happened. The highs, the lows, the frustration. Ill write about whatever comes to my mind but im sure ill miss alot.
Live 8 ~ wish i was there. damn schedule. I had to work saturday morning after having the last 2 days off and having next week off. I would have loved to go to the philly show. The toronto show might have been closer, but I saw almost everyone there. Watching it on tv after work, im surprised the toronto (barrie) show went longer then the philly show. I was flipping channels between mtv and the canadian channel (still am, as the days greatest hits are on) Also have the pip (picture in picture) working. Seeing neil young close in tor. it made me think, I was surprised pearl jam was involved in this. This is something they support. A few other bands/acts/performers Im surprised werent involved. I was supposed to be in vegas today and woulda been at their free 100 year concert. The headliners were weezer and red hot chilli peppers. So I know why those 2 werent there. Another im surprised who didnt perform was bruce springsteen. Anyways woulda loved to see linkin park and jay-z mash up again. If a dvd comes out for this, with $ goin to charity. Ill definatly buy it. Especially if the sound is in 5.1 stereo. hahaha (i luv my new system) This is the type of show id love to work, and would have gladly worked for free. Just to say I was apart of it and helped to make some difference or awareness. but yeah ill shush for now, u know me. I could go on forever about music.
Natalie Portman ~ she even looks beautiful with a shaved head! I heard about this a few weeks ago, but finally saw her today on the live8 show.
Transplants ~ I got the new cd, its not bad. But in my eyes and ears, not nearly as great as the first cd. Its grown on me, but still not as great as the first one.
Love/ matters of the heart ~ is it possible to be single so long that you turn cold? how do u know when something good comes ur way? what if ur heart dont beat as fast as it used to, to warn u? What if I dont know how to start or maintain a relationship anymore? thats the sillyness that fills my head lately.
DVR ~ it didnt work the other day and talkin on the phone to the cable company, they said bring the box in and swap it. I didnt want to wait til tuesday for a tech to come over. I didnt wanna miss recording stuff this weekend. So I switched boxes and it still dont work. I called to switch back boxes so i didnt lose everything I had recorded, but they said it was in the warehosue already. since when did the cable company move this fast? lol Id love to record this live 8 stuff and catch up on the stuff i had recorded on my vacation. but now i dont have to worry about that. My memory will be at a damn zero!
A/C ~ so after not using it / needing it last year I pull it out of storage to put in my room, cuz its been hot. Well its not working. Its only 2.5 years old. So it was a hassle to wait forever on hold with maytag (more then once) to get the company around here to come check it out. Its under 5 years in home service. Who knows when ill get it back, thank goodness the last few days have been cooler. Makes it easier to sleep. With everything breaking or not working right lately, im afraid to touch my dick and piss. dont want that to break off! lol
Softball ~ I finally had a chance to play on thursday. I was finally off. I went 1 for 2 and walked once also. Had a good defensive game, but my offense is a lil rusty. Next week is a doubleheader, hopefully i do better and we win. we lost 8-4. But they had a big first innining. If you take that away, we win. Played volleyball after at joes. His setup is really good. It was co-ed and i didnt go balls out. But I wanted to, im not tryin to be a gym class hero or an asshole. I just dont like losing and I am that competitive. But I miss playing on the beach in the sand and just diving for the fun of it.
Work ~ I got a 50 cent an hour raised. Its the most they gave anyone, or at least anyone saying what they got. its good but from looking at other jobs in the paper and my feild, I still feel like I should be making more. Especially my skills and knowledge of the system, the company and all of our buildings. Maybe Ill have more time to drop off my resume this week and see what is else is out there.
