Movies.. woo
So, when I started watching The Family Stone last night, for most of it I was really kind of ticked off at the family.. because they were all pretty rude.. but at the end, I loved it. It's strange, but it sheds a lot of light on the essence of love. I'm a pretty huge fan. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
I also watched You've Got Mail today and thoroughly enjoyed it. For some reason, when I watched it the first time when it came out, I was not impressed. But, now, I love it. It reminds me of Sleepless in Seattle, which is a TOTALLY classicly wonderful movie. I absolutely love that movie. I think I am becoming a pretty huge Meg Ryan fan. Plus, she was married to Dennis Quaid for quite a while, meaning she has some pretty good taste.
Speaking of good taste, after seeing X-Men 3: The Last Stand I am an even bigger fan of Hugh Jackman than I once was. I mean, his super hero pants were a pretty tight fit, but it works for him.
In other news, I am going to go ahead and say that this summer is way hotter than last summer. Hands down, it has to be. I went outside for like 45 minutes and actually got a slight tan on my legs. You guys, this sun is no ordinary sun... it is doing miracles, haha!
Oh, get this - I made the Dean's List. That's kinda cool, eh?
One more comment to make. Okay so I'm reading The Da Vinci Code right now, and though I like it, I cannot decide if I like the chapter length or not. On one hand, I feel so accomplished knowing that in no time I have downed 4 chapters, but then again, I feel like after reading 4 chapters I should be farther into the book. Eh, who knows.. either way it is a pretty good page turner and I am pleased.
Alright, so I'm going to keep reading that.... and watch My Best Friend's Wedding. Bye all!
