So I guess I'll make an attempt to update around here some more. hehe...
Let's see.. Halloween will see me in LA, California. I've not been to Cali before, so this should be fun. Annabelle is going to pick me up from the airport and show me around. I've got Chris' camera so I should be taking a bunch of pictures, or at least some =P I'd like to take one from the plane, wonder if I'll be able to... hrm... I hope so =) I'm going to Monster Massive while I'm out there. Marky & XRS, Shimon, and Ming & FS will be performing. Supposed to be somewhere between 20,000 & 30,000 people there. I've not ever seen a rave that big... that's just rediculous. It's been years since I've seen anything half that size o_O Heh... will be interesting to say the least. Should be fun to have a 5 day break from my normal life though. I think I'll hit up the record store out here, and maybe check out some sushi joints. Going to try to get some pictures of sunsets and some shots of downtown LA. Hrm... who knows what else I'll get into. Tim hit me up last night and said he wants to get me in touch with some people he knows. I don't think he realizes I don't actually want to go to LA to party a lot. I really want to chill, and have an easy time. All the rush rush of life I can get here, no need in forcing it on myself when I'm on vacation! Bah, I may ask him a few things, but I don't need to get into all of that, I wouldn't mind doing the tourist thing during the day, then chilling at night watching movies. I'm getting old =x
Last Saturday was our DnBBQ/Loft party thing. It was actually pretty damn cool. It started at 1 pm and went until 5 am. I made it til 1:30. My legs still hurt. 4 days later! Ugh... Lol. I'm out of shape, I need to start stretching again, but I digress. Chris started things out, and was seemingly having a good time, but we got started a bit late, and he let his set get cut short. Which I'm glad he did, cus it evened out most of the rest of the day. I came on after him and played some intelligent and some liquid funk. I've not ever played intelligent in public before, being in a public park made it feel a bit weird, but it came out nicely. After me Andrew, Nathan, Mike & Kiel, and Mayhem all played. Good times, good times. Everybody pulled some classics out of their collection for the night. That was nice, everytime I turned around I was hearing another classic tune. Around 1:30 am I had to leave. I was fucking exhausted and it felt like my legs were going to give out at anytime. =\ I hated to go, but I just couldn't hang anymore. Had I rested a bit more during the day and not walked almost constantly I probably would have been cool. Ahh well, shit happens.
Tonight, Tommy and myself will be starting our radio show back up. www.pfradio.com has restarted the radio portion of the site, and tonight will be our first show. Yesterday Raptures (the owner) played the first show kicking it back off. Hopefully we'll get things set up and we'll make things work out a bit better this time. I've not only been made Mod on the forum, but Raps also made me an Admin. Not entirely sure why, but hell, it works. =P Check out the forum, join up and bs with us, we're all silly and just a tiny bit retarded ;] Oh... our show is Tuesdays 7-9 pm EST (Wednesdays 12-2 am GMT). =D Check it maaaaan!
