Virtual Playdate in the age of technology....

I've been hitting Facebook a lot lately, mostly because I don't have time to spend making long insightful posts, so a one-sentence status update like 'Battlestar Galactica' is much easier. It doesn't hurt that I have the fantastic Facebook app on my iPhone either....
One of the things I DO spend time on with facebook is uploading videos and pics of Tyler, as most of my family is ALSO on facebook, and it's a quick and easy way to share special little moments, etc...
I posted a video recently of Tyler dancing to the Madagascar song. It was pretty adorable, if I do say so, and my family and friends loved it. Well, a co-worker of mine played it for HIS baby, Aidan, on his laptop, and Aidan started dancing along with Tyler, so David shot a quick video of THAT.
I just think it's pretty amazing that we live in a time where my friends' son can have a 'virtual playdate' and dance along with Tyler via the web. It's just a great sign of the times, you know?
I'm still trying to convince my parents (who live in florida now) to get a laptop with a video camera so I can set up some simple video conferencing software and they can virtual chat with Tyler whenever they want.
